Welcome to my Field Book
Every good explorer has one. And while I'm sure that Marco Polo, Ibn Battuta, and Indiana Jones's field books were probably leather bound and weatherbeaten, in this day and age we've swapped fountainpens for keypads.
Nonetheless, my digital field book holds all the important things: my observations, thoughts, and plans for adventures near and far from home. So let me tell you about the time I was saved in the desert by a Bedouin camel farmer, the month I spent learning in Buddhist temples in Southern China, the dinner I cooked with an Israeli motor biker in a hostel in northern Argentina, and let me tell you how what I’ve seen has informed the way I see the world. Let’s call this one adventurous girl’s observation journal.
